About

Building things. Learning along the way. Sharing what I discover.

I build things across hardware, firmware and software.

My work revolves around embedded products, engineering tools, applications, and workflows that make building those products easier.

Artofio is my space to share what I build, what I learn, the problems I encounter, and the ideas I'm exploring.

Build. Explore. Learn. Share.

I've always had the habit of thinking about ideas, experimenting with things, and learning by building. For a long time, I kept most of those thoughts, experiments, and lessons to myself.

I always wanted to share them with others — not necessarily as polished tutorials or finished products, but simply as things I discovered while building.

For years, finding the time to do that was the difficult part. With AI becoming a bigger part of my everyday workflow, I finally feel that the barrier is much smaller. So I decided it was time to start putting these ideas out into the world instead of keeping them to myself.

That's one of the reasons I started Artofio.

What I do

My work is mostly around building products and solving engineering problems across hardware and software.

I usually start with the hardware.

Then comes the firmware that makes it work.

If the product needs software, tools, an application, a web interface, or an automated workflow around it, I build those too.

The boundaries between hardware, firmware and software are often where the interesting problems are.

I enjoy working across those boundaries.

Hardware ↓ Firmware ↓ Software ↓ Applications ↓ Tools & Workflows

Over the years, I've worked across:

  • Embedded systems
  • Electronics and hardware design
  • Firmware
  • Desktop and web applications
  • Hardware-software integration
  • Test and verification tooling
  • Engineering automation
  • Development workflows
  • AI-assisted engineering tools
  • Building embedded products

For the last few years, I've also been part of Zilliot Technologies, a startup based in Mangalore, where we build embedded products and engineering solutions.

Working on real products has exposed me to a wide range of problems — from designing hardware and writing firmware to debugging systems, building supporting software, automating testing, and improving the development workflow around the product.

That experience has shaped the way I approach engineering.

I don't like thinking of hardware, firmware and software as completely separate disciplines.

A product is the whole system.

Why Artofio?

Artofio is where I want to bring all of this together.

Some things here will be polished tools.

Some will be projects.

Some will be experiments that may never become products.

Some will simply be something I learned and wanted to document.

And some will be ideas that I'm still figuring out.

I don't want everything here to be perfect before I share it.

I want to build, explore, learn, and share along the way.

If something I build or learn can save someone else a little time, spark an idea, or help them solve a problem, then it is worth sharing.
